Chicken eggs are the simplest and most economical source of protein, and are also the "national delicacy" that many people love to eat; whether it is a staple food for breakfast or lunch or dinner, as long as you do not take too much, it is healthy.

Cooking website Taste of Home contributor Lara Eucalano said she loves to eat chicken eggs and often buys organic chicken eggs in supermarkets without any doubt; but recently she wants to know: Is it worth spending an extra $4? To find out, she tried to eat organic chicken eggs and ordinary chicken eggs.

To conduct the test, Yukalano bought two boxes of chicken eggs at the Fresh Thyme locker supermarket near her home; she picked the cheapest, $1.69 box (the supermarket owned brand) and a box of Organic Valley (Organic) Valley), chicken eggs for $5.99. Both are larger A-level eggs.

Yukalanno said that as soon as she opened the packaging, she realized that the two differences were: the shell of the organic egg was brown, while the shell of the organic egg was white. But after she opened the shell, she discovered that Fresh Thyme's non-organic eggs had beautiful orange yellow egg yellow; she said she liked the darker egg yellow that kept it even when frying or cooking. What surprised her was that the organic eggs had much yellow color.

In order to test the taste of the two eggs, Yukaranno prepared two cooking methods: scrambled eggs with whole milk and double half-baked eggs. Here are her findings:

Non-organic eggs

. Scrambled eggs: The fried eggs are scattered and have a bit old taste, but they are more yellow in color.

. Double-sided half-baked egg: The egg is yellow and fresh, and it is very suitable for eating with toast dipped in undercooked egg yellow; the only disadvantage is that the egg white is not that tender.

Organic chicken eggs

. Scrambled eggs: light and soft, easy to eat; the overall taste is excellent, but not too heavy, and you can still taste the egg scent from a sautéed with a spoonful of butter.

. Double-sided half-baked poached egg: Compared with ordinary chicken eggs, egg yellow tastes lighter, but the egg white is very smooth and melts in the mouth.

Does organic chicken egg taste better? The conclusion of the

Yukalanno test is: Not necessarily. It turns out that chicken eggs are not better than non-organic just because they are organic, but the taste and taste may not be the only factor that consumers consider when buying. Many people choose organic chicken eggs for a simple reason, because the mother chicken will not be kept in the pot, you can go outdoors and eat organic feed. Yucalano said it was entirely up to personal decisions.
