NVIDIA High Level said that executive chairman Huang Rensheng will hold a media briefing meeting in Beijing on July 16, which is his second visit to China since he emphasized the importance of the Chinese market in April this year.

Huang Rensha's visit was concerned by both the United States and China. Representatives of the two American participants wrote to Huang Rensha on the 11th, asking him to avoid meetings with Chinese companies that cooperate with military or information agencies during this trip. The participants also asked him not to meet with the actual situation on the US export restriction list.

"We worry that your trip may provide legality to companies that work closely with the Chinese military or units involved in U.S. export control loopholes," the participant wrote.

Since 2022, the US government will impose restrictions on the export of advanced NVIDIA chips to China on the grounds of worrying about military applications. Earlier this year, the United States banned the sale of NVIDIA H20 chips to China, which were originally allowed to be sold to China.

NVIDIA is facing competition from Chinese technology giants and other chip manufacturers, but Chinese technology companies are still eager to obtain NVIDIA chips because of the CUDA computing platform.

According to NVIDIA's annual report, in the year ended January 26, the Chinese market brought NVIDIA US$17 billion in revenue, accounting for 13% of the total revenue. Huang Rensheng has repeatedly emphasized that China is a key market for the company's upward growth and has to gain opportunities between the U.S. and China.
