Arsenal coach Arteta's wife Lorena Bernal accepts HELLO! The magazine interview talked about the secret of the happy marriage between the couple. The Arteta couple will celebrate their 15th anniversary this summer. They met at a nightclub in San Sebastian, their hometown in Spain, and have been with each other for 23 years. They have three sons: Gabriel, Daniel and Oliver, who are 16, 13 and 10 years old respectively.
Now 44 years old, Lorena said: "Our marriage actually has no secret. I think the most important thing is to understand and accept that you are two independent individuals living together, not keeping each other intact. You are not teaching each other how to live, but growing together and supporting each other's growth. You need to accept that everyone has their own pace, pace and journey of life, and accepting it can make everything wonderful."
"Of course, the basis of all this is love, appreciation and respect for each other... and the fun of being together. When we have time to be together, we do something very common because our lives are completely different from usual. We will take a walk together, or sit down and have a cup of coffee, and doing nothing together is also a beauty."
