The sterilization surgery itself is safe, and the risk mainly comes from general anesthesia.

Currently, pet surgery is generally used to inhal anesthetic drugs from the respiratory tract. Common complications mainly occur in the respiratory system, circulatory system and central nervous system, such as vomiting, asphyxiation, respiratory obstruction, insufficient ventilation, pneumonia and atelectasis, hypotension, arrhythmia, delayed awakening, etc.

However, with the continuous advancement of modern anesthesia technology, the above complications are becoming less and less.

How to reduce the risk of intraoperative anesthesia:

1. Do some routine hematological examinations for Ai Pet before surgery, including blood routine and biochemical. Hematological examination before anesthesia not only checks whether the internal organs (liver and kidney function) indicators in the animal's body are normal, but also provides a clear understanding of the whole blood cells in the animal's body and checks whether the animals have abnormal inflammation, anemia, platelet function and coagulation function. This is the most important step to ensure the safety of anesthesia and reduce the risk of anesthesia.

2. The doctor will formulate an anesthesia plan based on the specific situation of the dog. The anesthesia method, operation time, drug selection before anesthesia, and emergency treatment of expected complications will be arranged in advance.

3. During the operation, the doctor fully judges the animal's condition with the help of an electrocardiogram monitor, discovers potential risks as soon as possible, and protects the life safety of the pet!
