After losing 2-3 at home to Burnley, the Wolves have lost 9 games in the league this season and are ranked at the bottom. talksport reported that Wolves goalkeeper José Sa and head coach Pereira both confronted fans after the game.

According to reports, new footage shows José Sa confronting angry fans in the parking lot as he left the stadium. Fans accused the players of lacking "sufficient passion". When the security personnel tried to intervene, José Sa stopped them and said to the security personnel: "It doesn't matter, we are just talking. The fans are right."

The Portuguese goalkeeper later added: "When I get home, I will not talk to my wife because we lost, because I am sad."

In the stadium, coach Pereira was also besieged by fans. Fans chanted "You're going to be sacked tomorrow morning" at him, prompting an "angry response" from Pereira who had to be "held back by his own players".

Although Pereira only renewed his contract with the club for three years last month, and although the team has been winless so far, his job is "not immediately threatened."
