Manchester United's official website announced that it would renew its contract with the team's young midfielder Murhouse and loan him out of the League One Leiden Oriental.

It is reported that Moorehouse has signed a new three-year contract with Manchester United, which includes a one-year renewal option. The Irish youth international also agreed to join Leiden Oriental on loan for one season.

This loan will give Moorhouse the first opportunity to accumulate first-team game experience after leaving Manchester United, and he will start this journey under the guidance of Manchester United youth training graduate Ricci Wellens. Waylens has played for Manchester United once and has since continued his personal career with other teams. He led Leiden Oriental to the League Two Championship in the 2022-2023 season, and then led the team to the League One upgrade play-off final in May last year. Unfortunately, it was not upgraded.

19-year-old Murhouse performed well in the 2024-2025 season. Not only did he win the Premier League Youth League Player of the Month Award in December, but he was also selected for the first-team lineup under Amorin many times. He then made his debut in both games of the May team's Asian Playoff Tour.
