Norman Foster, an architect at Manchester United’s new stadium, was interviewed about the grand plan to create a £2 billion pound, 100,000-seat "North Wembley" for the club. Club owner Sir Ratcliffe also shared his vision for the iconic new venue.

How do you hope this stadium reflects Manchester United's identity?

We told Norman that we wanted to have a stadium where anyone in the world would know it was Manchester United when they saw it.

What are your final expectations for the new stadium?

This is more than just a new stadium. Everyone knows the Eiffel Tower and everyone wants to visit it. Everyone in the world will want to visit this stadium.
