According to British media GIVEMESPORT, Son Heung-min will leave Tottenham this summer, and Los Angeles FC has entered the stage of in-depth negotiations.

Son Heung-min confirmed his decision to leave the team before Tottenham's friendly match against Newcastle, and he has informed Los Angeles FC that he hopes to join. It is understood that Los Angeles FC has sent a delegation to South Korea to try to finalize an agreement with Tottenham.

Son Heung-min has one year left in his existing contract, but Tottenham is not expected to block it and allow their captain to leave as they wish.

This decision has been informed by Levi and Frank. Frank talked with Son Heung-min last week before the team flew to Asia, and all parties have reached an agreement.

Tottenham told the Saudi team last summer and April this year that they valued Son Heung-min at about 40 million euros, but Los Angeles FC is not expected to pay such a high fee. Los Angeles FC sources declined to say whether they would pay record transfer fees.

Tottenham Hotspur is very likely to allow Son Heung-min to transfer to Los Angeles at a lower price, understanding this is the transfer Son Heung-min wants. The specific structure of the transaction is not yet clear.

Los Angeles has a huge Korean community, which is understood to play a key role in Son Heung-min's considerations, while also being able to play in the United States the year before the 2026 World Cup.

Son Heung-min joined Tottenham from Leverkusen for £22 million in August 2015, and has since scored 173 goals in 454 games in his 10 years at the club. He won the UEFA Cup with Tottenham last season.
