Do not use soapy water, dishwashing liquid or clean water to clean furniture.

Soapy water, dishwashing liquid and other cleaning products cannot effectively remove dust accumulated on the surface of the furniture, nor can they remove silica sand particles before lighting. Moreover, because they have a certain degree of corrosion, they will damage the surface of the furniture and make the paint surface of the furniture dull.

At the same time, if moisture penetrates into the wood, it will also cause mold or local deformation of the wood, shortening its service life. Nowadays, many furniture is pressed by fiberboard machines. If moisture penetrates, it will not become moldy in the first two years because formaldehyde and other additives have not completely evaporated. However, once the additive evaporates, the moisture of the wet cloth will cause mold in the furniture. If the residents with lower floors, the furniture in their homes may be "mold" every year.

I would like to remind you here that even if some furniture surfaces are coated with piano paint, they can be properly scrubbed with clean water, and do not leave a wet rag on the surface of the furniture for a long time to prevent moisture from seeping into the wood.
